Educational Objectives;
The aim of the Social Service Program is to train professional staff who will work with an approach that embraces national and universal values by prioritizing the needs of the country, ensure social improvement and social organization, and demonstrate the power of social institutions and social policies.

Students who successfully complete this program earn a Master's degree.
Registration Conditions
Candidates who will apply to thesis and non-thesis master's programs must meet the following conditions:
a) They must have a bachelor's degree, Turkish students who have completed their undergraduate programs in foreign countries must also have an equivalence certificate from the Council of Higher Education, and their undergraduate grade point average must be at least 2.00 out of a coefficient of 4.00, which is also valid for non-thesis master's programs conducted in evening education. must.
b) They must have received at least 55 full points from ALES in the score type of the program they are applying for. The results of the internationally valid graduate entrance exam can be evaluated according to subparagraph (a) of the first paragraph of Article 15 of this Regulation. ALES requirement is not required for students who have started their graduate education by providing at least 55 ALES points, but who have been dismissed from any departmental graduate program or who want to start another program after completing a graduate program and who apply with a break of at most one semester.
c) They must get at least 50 points from YDS or an equivalent score from a national or international exam accepted by the Interuniversity Board and in accordance with subparagraph (b) of the first paragraph of Article 15 of this Regulation. Foreign language exam scores are not mandatory in non-thesis master's programs; However, when accepting students to a non-thesis master's program, a foreign language requirement may be required with the recommendation of the academic board of the relevant department and the approval of the institute board of directors.
d) Candidates are evaluated out of 100 full points during the interview. During the interview, if requested, an oral evaluation is made by taking into account the reference letter submitted by the candidate and the composition stating why he wants to do a master's degree and his goals.
d) In accepting students to master's programs; ALES score, undergraduate GPA and interview results are evaluated. In the evaluation, 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the undergraduate grade point average and 30% of the interview results are taken into consideration, and a ranking is made among those who have received at least a total of 65 points, with the recommendation of the academic board of the department and the decision of the institute board of directors.
e) In accepting students to non-thesis master's programs that do not require an ALES score; Undergraduate GPA and interview results are evaluated. In the evaluation, 50% of the undergraduate grade point average and 50% of the interview results are taken into consideration, and a ranking is made among those who have received at least a total of 65 points, with the recommendation of the academic board of the department and the decision of the institute board of directors.
f) ALES score is not required for student admission to the Faculty of Fine Arts and State Conservatory departments. The provisions of subparagraph (e) of the first paragraph of this article apply to student admission.
Degree Requirements and Rules
Master's programs with thesis consist of at least seven courses, a seminar, other learning activities and thesis work, provided that they are not less than 21 national credits and 120 ECTS credits. Of the 120 ECTS credits, 60 ECTS credits consist of lectures and seminars, and 60 ECTS credits consist of specialization courses including thesis work. Non-thesis master's programs consist of at least ten courses and a term project, provided that they are not less than 30 national credits and 90 ECTS credits. Success score is evaluated out of 4.00. To be considered successful in the final or make-up exams, graduate students must get at least 2.75 out of 4.00.

Among the courses taken by a student in a semester/year, courses in which he received a grade of 2.75 or above (C1) are counted. The student must be successful in compulsory courses. Different courses can be taken instead of failed elective courses.
